Most of the projects I advise are related to either Satellite Navigation or Audio/Music Signal Processing. It doesn't take much of a sales pitch to get me interested in projects related to those areas.
Somewhat more reluctantly, I'll advise just about any project having a strong computer engineering flavor.
Before you contact me about a project, make sure that you have read the MQP Manual located in the Projects Central webpage. I spend a lot of time each year updating and revising that manual, so students that don't have their act together before approaching me often find themselves tossed neatly out of my office!
Despite that attitude, my MQP schedule normally fills up pretty fast.
