[12.07.2007]: Congratulations to Mr. Udaya Kiran Tadikonda for successfully defending his MS thesis entitled "Adaptive Bit Allocation with Reduced Feedback for Wireless Multicarrier Transceivers"!

[12.04.2007]: Congratulations to Ms. Shilpa Sirikonda for successfully defending her MS report entitled "Multihop Routing Optimization in Communication Networks using Genetic Algorithms"!

[11.19.2007]: Mr. Srikanth Pagadarai has safely arrived in Worcester to commence his Ph.D. studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering under the guidance of Professor Wyglinski. Welcome to WPI, Srikanth!

[11.14.2007]: Dr. John Chapin, CTO of Vanu, Inc. and a visiting scientist at MIT, gave a presentation entitled "Software Radio: A Broad Change in RF Communications Systems Design" at the Fall 2007 WPI ECE Distinguished Speaker Graduate Seminar. In the afternoon, Dr. Chapin visited the Wireless Innovation Laboratory and spoke with lab members about their current research activities.

[08.27.2007]: Professor Wyglinski was awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for his project entitled "NeTS-WN: Quantification of Spectrum Availability for Wireless Network Access". Read more about it by clicking here.

[08.23.2007]: Congratulations to Mr. Srikanth Pagadarai for successfully defending his MS thesis entitled "Sidelobe Suppression for OFDM Based Cognitive Radios in Dynamic Spectrum Access Networks"!

[08.21.2007]: The paper entitled "Population Adaptation for Genetic Algorithm-based Cognitive Radios" by Newman, Rajbanshi, Wyglinski, Evans, and Minden has been accepted to the ACM/Springer Mobile Networks and Applications (MONET) Special Issue on Cognitive Radio Oriented Wireless Networks and Communications.
